Valve body, bonnet, disc are all produced in ductile iron material which provides guarantee for high strength and good corrosion resistance.

Fusion bonded epoxy coating in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C550 for both interior and exterior surface which provides reliable corrosion resistance.

The DP Series compact design of dual plate wafer check valve gives it the advantages over other check valves in sizes, weight, cost, ease of installation and maintenance.
The construction of the valve is simple and reliable. The plates function independent of stainless steel torsion springs shut the valve quickly to minimize reversal flow and prevent water hammer. It requires only a low force to open the plates, hence minimize the pressure drop across the valve. In shut position, the plate rest on resilient seat which provides good sealing.
A valve is a device that regulates, directs or controls the flow of a fluid (gases, liquids, fluidized solids, or slurries) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. In an open valve, fluid flows in a direction from higher pressure to lower pressure. Valves have many uses, including controlling water for irrigation, industrial uses for controlling processes, residential uses such as on / off & pressure control to dish and clothes washers & taps in the home. Valves are found in virtually every industrial process, including water & sewage processing, mining, power generation, processing of oil, gas & petroleum, food manufacturing, chemical & plastic manufacturing and many other fields. Valves may be operated manually, either by a handle, lever, pedal or wheel. Valves may also be automatic, driven by changes in pressure, temperature, or flow.
